Hiroshi POV:
A month after the nightmare... Still his friends were gone. the only evidence of their existence were their heartbroken parents and their empty desks at school. Hiroshi didn't know what to do or say, he hadn't stepped forward to tell them about the experience at the abandoned house; who would believe him and not think him the suspect? The boy sighed and packed up his school bag, absently saying his good-byes to fellow students as he started his way home.

Ao Oni POV:
Anger was all he felt now...nothing else. The presence of the boy's friends only further angered him. He should have him there too...a silver haired Oni to stay with him forever in the house that he should have never been able to leave. Ao had previously thought his mansion an impossible puzzle to solve...especially with himself chasing whomever was trying to solve it. How could he know that the boy was so clever? Had he known...things would be different. Anger again.

Hiroshi POV:
Hiroshi didn't know what to do anymore. He no longer went to clubs, he went home, did his homework, ate food, went to bed. That's all he did these days. He knew his mother was getting worried about him, his father too. But how could anyone continue to act normal after the things he'd seen?

Ao Oni POV:
Ao was becoming more and more violent. Those who were unfortunate enough to stumble across his mansion no longer had to set foot in it to inspire his wrath. If he saw them, they were dead. This went for the other Oni in the house too. There was a reason the other Oni stayed in cages. Ao was not forgiving, nor was he kind when he got into his moods. Blockman accused him of being overly obsessed with the boy once. Once. He could no longer live like this...he had to have his prize.

Hiroshi POV:
The silver haired boy stepped out from the flower shop, a small boquet of daffodils in his hand. His mother liked bright flowers and he hated to worry her. He might not be able to act normal like he used to, but at the very least he could try to make her feel better. It had been a bit of a trial, though. They had boquets of blue-purple flowers, almost the exact shade of the Oni that had chased him through that house.

Ao Oni POV:
Prey was becoming more scarce due to Ao's frenzied attacks, and he was hungry. He wasn't hungry for any more lost souls...he was hungry for Hiroshi. Anything else would be like ash on his tongue. It would be dangerous to leave, though. He wondered if he could use the boy's friends as a lure..would he return? He decided he was too impatient and herded the other Oni into the jail cell in the basement before preparing himself. He could turn invisible--almost entirely-- if he wished, and that's how he would get to Hiroshi's town. He could certainly find him from his scent.

Hiroshi POV:
Hiroshi stepped in, calling out the customary "I'm home," but not receiving an answer. He looked around and found a note on the dinner table that his mom was out shopping and after school snacks were in the fridge. Hiroshi dropped his school bag by the table and opened cabinets, looking for a vase to put his mother's flowers in.

Ao Oni POV:
It was honestly quite scary to leave his mansion, but he was desperate at this point. He was already drooling...the smell of humans was so strong. He spotted one and had to resist attacking: he wanted to save room for all of Hiroshi, though that wouldn't be difficult. He was quite petit for a boy his age. Ah, why not then? The human didn't see it coming as Ao attacked and quickly devoured him, careful not to spill too much of his blood on him. Somewhat satisfied, he remained on the outskirts of town, smelling the air for that scent...

Hiroshi POV:
Hiroshi watered the plants and set them on the table for his mother to see when she got home. He looked in the fridge and grabbed the plate of snaks, apple slices and three small rice balls. The boy took them to his room with his school bag and brought out his books and homework. Might as well get it done now.

Ao Oni POV:
Oh...that aroma. It was Hiroshi. He had to shudder and pause to admire it before continuing, the fragrance almost overwhelming him at one modest residence. This was it...Hiroshi's dwelling. The door was unlocked, so he invited himself in. It was perfect inside...so very 'Hiroshi.' He entertained himself before his meal by examining the many items in the den, smelling of the flower vase that Hiroshi had just handled. It was still warm. His large, thick tongue laved across the warm handprints, tasting of Hiroshi. It was magnificent.

Hiroshi POV:
The boy was starting his English homework when he heard clattering in the other room. Was his mother home? She hadn't called to say so. The boy frowned and stood, opening the door. "Hello?" He called, "Okaa-san?"

Ao Oni POV:
Ao stood bolt upright, his ear hearing that sweet, sweet tone. After being wihtout him for so long, it was almost hard to believe that he was here. Well, he may as well fulfill his fantasies. He cloaked himself in invisibility and crept to the stairs, the wooden floor creaking beneath his heavy feet. There he was...at the top of the stairs. Just like he remembered, even with that fearfull look in his eyes. He was rather surprised with himself, but he didn't know what he wanted to do. He was almost certain that his instincts would take over and he would devour him on the spot.

Hiroshi POV:
He heard the floors creak ominously, like someone was there and walking about, but he got no answers. He was scared to go downstairs, but he carefully did so, grabbing the bag of soy beans he'd been keeping in his room ever since that night. "Okaa-san?" He called again. "Do you need any help?"

Ao Oni POV:
Oh! He was coming close! Ao felt a jolt of panic in the pit of his stomach...his empty stomach. If he didn't act now, he might never get this opportunity again! He lunged and turned visible simultaneously, grabbing his Hiroshi by his slender waist. His big hands nearly covered all of them.

Hiroshi POV:
It was so sudden, Hiroshi didn't start screaming at first. Not until he saw those huge eyes and the deep blue color of the Oni's skin. Then he screamed bloody murder and tossed the bag in the Oni's face. The soy beans clattered out onto the floor and Hiroshi cried, "Demon begone! Demon begone!"

Ao Oni POV:
Ah, that beautiful sound! Hiroshi's screams...he thought he'd not hear them again! And what were these that were being thrown at him? They looked to be beans. And here he thought Hiroshi was intelligent. He didn't think much on it as he looked down at his boy, his big black eyes glimmering with glee. He finally had him...and he didn't know what to do. He didn't want it to be over already! Maybe he'd take him back to his mansion and have fun making him scream and bleed before eating him. Yes, he would do that.

Hiroshi POV:
Soy beans didn't work. Great, what else now? He couldn't assume any superstitions about Oni and Oni lore would work now. But running from him worked. If he ran and remained free for over thirty seconds then the Oni disappeared for a time. It had worked at the mansion, would it work outside the mansion? Hiroshi kicked and struggled, finally freeing a hand and punching the Oni in the eye. He was dropped and the Oni roared in pain and displeasure as he fled the house, sprinting as fast as he could. Where would he go?

Ao Oni POV:
Ah! The little sprite...he should have known better than to admire too long. Hiroshi was a fiesty one, and he would have it no other way. He supposed that's what kept him from simply biting his head off so that he couldn't run. He gleefully chased, his thundering footsteps swiftly catching up to the running youth.

Hiroshi POV:
He could hear the Oni taking chase, following him on those huge feet. He panted, desperately fleeing down alleys, rounding sharp corners, jumping over bags of trash and short fences. He just had to keep running. The stitch in his side was nothing compared to what the Oni would do when he had Hiroshi.

Ao Oni POV:
Ugh...Hiroshi was quick as always. It was hard to move so much Oni as fast as he could move his little amount of Hiroshi. Then something occurred to him. Hiroshi would be but a couple bites and be gone...even if he tasted exquisite, he would only experience that euphoria for a matter of seconds. Yes, he could eat him slowly...but he didn't have that self control. He felt empty as he chased Hiroshi...perhaps it was only the chase and thrill of the hunt that he wanted.

Hiroshi POV:
It had been over thirty seconds and the Oni was getting slower, but so was he. Hiroshi couldn't run forever. What would happen if he was caught? Eaten, most likely. That was one thing in Oni lore he believed. He jumped another fence, but, lo and behold, his left foot got caught on the fence and he tripped. Crap! He struggled up, grabbing a piece of wood and hurriedly flipping himself over, wielding the wood at the Oni. It might not do much good, but a weapon was better than no weapon.

Ao Oni POV:
Thankfully Hiroshi tripped, the Oni puffing through his nose softly. He might not have been the quickest, but he had great stamina. He eyed the wood in his hands and growled. He dared defend himself? 'Hiroshi, you owe me your flesh. You were mine and you ran away. I own you.' If he could have said it, he would have. Instead, he rumbled, stepping closer. With a swift swipe of his big palm and well muscled arm, he tossed the wood away, bending over and scooping up his Hiroshi. He was sure to keep his flailing limbs well away from his vital regions and began the trek home, prize in hand.

Hiroshi POV:
Hiroshi never stopped fighting. He screamed for help, flailed, tried to kick and hit his eyes again. They were such big targets, but the Oni had learned from the first hit. He knew where he was being taken: Back to the mansion, where else? Except this time the Oni had him. How would he escape now?

Ao Oni POV:
Ao wasted no time in returning to his mansion, the large, run down estate looming in over the horizon. Hm...Hiroshi certainly was loud and squirmy. With a swift crack on the back of the head, the youth was out and limp in his arms. Much better. He entered the door and looked around to see if anyone was there. There wasn't of course, the others were locked up. Like a giddy schoolboy, Ao whisked his unconscious boy to his room, sitting in the middle of the floor with HIroshi in his lap. He was so small...and his glasses so big! it looked silly, but cute. He touched them delicately, pushing them up the bridge of his nose. He probably shouldn't admire his food like this, but when would he have the chance again?

Hiroshi POV:
He didn't even get a chance to feel the pain of being struck on the back of the head. He was just simply out, but he would definitely be feeling it later. If he was still alive to wake up. His body was quite limp in the Oni's lap, he could have been mistaken for dead if it wasn't for the air going in and out his nose and the gentle rise and fall of his chest.

Ao Oni POV:
The Oni's thick fingers were a little clumsy as he took time to examine the boy which had only ever been just out of arm's reach, finding himself even further enthralled. Hiroshi rather reminded Ao of a mouse, with his big glasses, small stature, and silver hair. Honestly, he didn't want to eat and kill Hiroshi anymore...but that begged the question of what he /did/ want to do with him. He knew he wanted to keep him. Perhaps he'd make him an Oni just like himself? That seemed equally unappealing. All he ever saw was other Oni.

Hiroshi POV:
Hiroshi would be baffled to know he wasn't being eaten and that to know the Oni wasn't even interested in eating him anymore. What did he want with him then? He was small, he wasn't strong like the Oni, he wasn't exceptionally smart, just a little clever. The only thing he could possibly be interested in was his odd silver hair. He had started out with dark hair when he was little, just like everyone else, but in elementary school his hair greyed, then silvered. His father admitted his hair turned silver before its time too, but that was in his late twenties, not when he was seven. That could be the only thing

Ao Oni POV:
Indeed, Ao was charmed by his silver hair, and greatly wanted to keep it around, but now he wasn't so sure that was it. It was just...all of him. He wanted all of him there forever. But of course he had to have a little taste first...just a bit. He lowered his big head and set his lips against his wrist, parting them to set his fangs against his delicate skin. He had to be very careful. He gingerly grazed his flesh, crimson beads of blood coming forth almost instantly. He laved it up eagerly with his tongue, and his mouth lit aflame with euphoria. It was by far the most superb thing he'd ever tasted, and that was bad. He said he didn't want to eat Hiroshi, but now it was almost worth it.

Hiroshi POV:
That bit of sharp pain was enough to set Hiroshi awake. The boy winced and made a soft noise, eyes fluttering open behind round glasses. "Ow, what..." The blue Oni was above him, licking a wound he didn't have before, a drop of red on a fang. "Oh god!" He shrieked, voice pitching higher. He was being eaten alive!

Ao Oni POV:
The Oni couldn't really help but help himself to more...but he was afraid he'd gone too far when his Hiroshi woke to find him licking it. Well, that didn't look good. But he didn't suppose anything would at this point. He'd not spoken human language in so long that he couldn't think of anything to say, so he didn't. He just held him there, staring. He debated knocking him out again.

Hiroshi POV:
Hiroshi whimpered and struggled , jerking his arm away and holding it close to his body protectively. "Please, let me go!" He begged, trying to squirm out of the Oni's lap.

Ao Oni POV:
No, he would never let Hiroshi go. That was out of the question. But he was really at a loss for what to do next. Maybe he'd lock him in a cage to cool off for further play later. Ao Oni grabbed Hiroshi by his collar and lifted him up, carrying him to one of the many cells in his mansion. He chose the best one for him.
